Job Overview

The Roadside Service Tech Flatbed is responsible for providing safe, high-quality roadside solutions for AAA members, ensuring positive member experiences in a tow or flatbed vehicle. Responsibilities include responding to member requests within an estimated time of arrival, ensuring vehicle and member safety, providing minor mechanical assistance, towing disabled vehicles, promoting AAA services, and meeting performance standards for service and satisfaction.

Compensation and Shift Details

• Pay: $22.00 - $24.75/hour, plus benefits and incentives
• Differentials: $2.75/hour overnight, $1.75/hour evening, $1/hour weekend
• Shift: Sun, Mon, Thurs, Fri 11am-9:30pm

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to dispatch and member calls, assess safety, and locate members.
• Provide mechanical assistance and towing, following safety and operational procedures.
• Maintain vehicle and equipment, ensuring safety and readiness.
• Promote AAA products and services to members.
• Work independently, adapt to various shifts, and handle high-pressure situations.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required
• Experience: Must be at least 21 years old, with post-secondary automotive training and electrical troubleshooting familiarity
• Licenses: Valid driver’s license, DOT card, and successful motor vehicle record check
