The Roadside Service Tech Flatbed provides safe, top-quality roadside solutions for AAA members, ensuring positive experiences in a tow or flatbed vehicle. Responsibilities include responding to member requests within an ETA, ensuring safety, providing minor mechanical assistance, towing vehicles, promoting AAA services, and achieving performance standards.

Compensation

$22.00 - $24.75/hour base pay, full benefits, incentive pay, plus differentials for overnight, evening, and weekend hours, which can be combined.

Shift

Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat 12pm-10:30pm

Responsibilities

• Respond to dispatch or member calls within ETA.
• Locate and assist members, manage emotional situations, and assess scene safety.
• Provide minor mechanical assistance and towing, following safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines.
• Maintain vehicle and equipment, operate MDC computer, and handle payments.
• Promote AAA products and services, educate members, and assist with their destinations.
• Work independently, adapt to various shifts, and ensure safety during vehicle securing and towing.
• Operate under pressure in various traffic and weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 21 years old, with post-secondary automotive training and electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Active, valid driver’s license, DOT card, and clean motor vehicle record required.
