Job summary

TelCom Construction, LLC is seeking a Traveling Directional Drill Bores Operator to install underground telecommunications cables and infrastructure. You will determine bore paths, locate utilities, and safely operate drill equipment to complete assigned tasks.

This role requires up to 100% travel and work in all weather. You’ll need a valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement (or willingness to obtain), a valid driver's license, and drilling experience.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old and eligible to work in the U.S.
• Valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain
• Experience with drilling equipment and bore operations
• Valid state driver’s license with clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Determine bore path and locate utilities
• Safely operate and control all necessary equipment to complete assigned tasks
• Verify existing utilities by potholing to determine bore path
• Utilize Mud mixing systems
• Develop and maintain a bore schedule
• Responsible for site setup, cleanup, and equipment maintenance
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Up to 100% travel
• Other duties as assigned
