Job summary

American Medical Response is seeking a Road Supervisor in Arverne, NY. The role requires oversight of drivers, compliance with NYCT and NYS DMV rules, and coordination of dispatch and quality control for revenue vehicles.

You will hire, discipline, and manage route coverage while ensuring safety and timeliness of passenger transport. The position reports to Operations Manager in the Operations department.

Qualifications

• Must supervise employees and manage performance.
• NYS CDL Class C with passenger endorsement required.
• Unrestricted license valid for 3 years.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• No more than 4 points in 3 years.
• No DUI or related convictions in 5 years.
• Ability to hire, discipline and manage staff as needed.

Responsibilities

• Complete monthly NDT Report (due 5th).
• Maintain PO Log and daily data entry for gasoline fuel logs.
• Maintain Daily Midnight Verification Report and MTA Log.
• Conduct new hire interviews and follow hiring procedures.
• Prepare new driver personnel files promptly.
• Schedule daily driver work and monthly roaster for Medport."
• Produce holiday office staff schedule and update employee roaster.
• Update driver phone lists and issue driver communications as needed.
• Investigate customer complaints and respond via email.
• Run AVL Reports and dispatch as needed.
• Handle monthly invoicing and data entry for reports.
• Maintain the driver incentive log.
