Job summary

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and 3–5 years of diesel equipment experience, plus a valid driver’s license. CDL may be required in some locations; safety and adaptability are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade training preferred.
• 3–5 years of diesel equipment mechanic experience strongly preferred.
• Valid driver's license; CDL may be required in some locations.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems; troubleshooting skills.
• Flexibility to work in varying locations and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on equipment.
• Work safely to minimize downtime across a varied fleet.
• Operate on a variety of makes, models and equipment in remote locations.
• Adhere to Sunbelt Rentals safety policies and procedures.
