Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Road Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance, diagnosis, and advanced repairs at customer sites. You will handle a diverse fleet—Aerial Work Platforms, pumps, generators—and travel to remote locations with a focus on safety and uptime.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of diesel/heavy equipment experience, a valid driver’s license, and a willingness to work in varying environments. Excellent teamwork and adherence to Sunbelt’s safety standards are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school/advanced training a plus.
• 1–2 years of mechanic experience with diesel or heavy equipment preferred.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record; CDL may be required in some locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and diagnose/repair at customer locations.
• Work on various makes/models of equipment, in remote sites, safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a safe, professional work environment in accordance with company policies.
