Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Road Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance, diagnose, and make advanced repairs at customer locations. You will service a diverse fleet across remote sites, with training and safety as top priorities.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of diesel/heavy equipment experience, a valid driver’s license, and knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems. CDL may be required in some locations. Great benefits and career growth await.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 1–2 years of mechanic experience with diesel equipment or heavy construction gear preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL may be required in some locations.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and diagnose/repair equipment at the customer’s location, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Work on a variety of makes and models in challenging remote locations.
• Support growth of Sunbelt Rentals by delivering reliable service and adhering to safety policies.
