Qualifications

• A valid motor vehicle operator’s license is required.
• Requires attainment of a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) within six months of placement.
• Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lbs and exposure to outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual road maintenance such as clearing rights-of-way, patching potholes, repairing shoulders, paving driveways, and laying sideline/cross line pipe.
• Operate and maintain small equipment (tractor with mower, brush chipper, snow plow) and flag traffic to protect workers and the public.
• Operate dump trucks and flatbed trucks for hauling materials and assist in emergencies; on-call 24 hours a day.
