Job summary

Midlothian Council is seeking a Roadworker (3 x 3) based in Fushiebridge. This permanent role offers a 36-hour week, with working pattern Mon-Thu 07:30-15:45 and Fri 07:30-12:30, across 52 weeks per year.

Applicants must have SVQ level 2 in Road Building or equivalent and at least 1 year post-qualification experience in road maintenance, and will be considered on the first point of the salary scale as per council policy. Closing date is Sunday 1st November 2026.
