Job summary

Ferrovial is seeking a road maintenance technician responsible for maintenance, servicing and repairs of roads and related infrastructure assets. Responsibilities include creating safe traffic control, working at heights, and performing mechanical and electrical maintenance across highway assets.

The role requires a HS Diploma or GED, a valid driver license, and willingness to work overtime, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver license with good driving record required.
• 1 year of work experience in infrastructure maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Creates safe Maintenance of Traffic and sets up/removes traffic control devices.
• Work at heights using bucket trucks, scaffolding, ladders and aerial platforms lifts.
• Perform basic maintenance/repair of bridges and related equipment rooms.
• Inspect/repair drainage, pumps and fire hydrants as part of ongoing maintenance.
• Maintain electrical systems including emergency telephones and CCTV systems.
• Transport crew/equipment to sites using trucks and trailers and be available for emergency rotations.
