Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a skilled RN First Assistant to support perioperative services across patient populations. You will function as an RN first assistant during operative and invasive procedures and as an RN circulator when needed, ensuring safe, effective, patient-family centered care.

Required qualifications include a Georgia RN license, completion of AORN-RN First Assistant program, and CNOR/CRNFA certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program (Required).
• Completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program (includes didactic and clinical components) (Required).
• 2 years perioperative RN or RNFA experience (Required).
• 3 years minimum experience as RN or Surgical Tech in CVOR if CVOR work is involved (Required).
• Georgia RN license or NLC/eNCL multistate license (Required).
• CNOR, CRNFA, BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (Required).

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the OR and perioperative areas.
• Serve as RN first assistant during operative and invasive procedures and throughout perioperative care.
• Act as RN circulator when applicable in the OR setting.
