Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an experienced RN First Assistant to support perioperative services across the OR and related areas. The role includes acting as an RN first assistant during operative procedures and functioning as an RN circulator when needed, delivering safe, patient-family centered care.

Required credentials include Georgia RN licensure, CNOR and CNOR? Noted program completion and minimum 2 years perioperative RN/RNFA experience; CVOR experience preferred if applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program and complete AORN-RN First Assistant program.
• 2 years perioperative RN or RNFA experience required.
• 3 years minimum as RN or Surgical Tech in CVOR if CVOR is used.

Responsabilités

• Deliver safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the OR and perioperative areas.
• Act as RN first assistant during operative and invasive procedures and as RN circulator when needed.
• Ensure credentialing, privileges, experience, and competency requirements are met.
