Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a qualified RN First Assistant to join our perioperative services team. You will serve as an RN first assistant during operative and invasive procedures, and support the RN circulator as needed to ensure safe, patient-family centered care across the perioperative continuum.

The role requires completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program, GA RN licensure, CNOR certification, and several years of CVOR experience; certification in CRNFA, ACLS and PALS

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program.
• Completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program, which includes didactic and clinical components.
• Two years perioperative RN or RNFA experience.
• Three years minimum experience as an RN or Surgical Tech in the CVOR.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective perioperative patient care as an RN First Assistant.
• Collaborate with the RN circulator to ensure safe perioperative care across the continuum.
