Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an experienced RN first assistant to deliver safe, effective perioperative care across the OR and related areas. You will function as an RN first assistant during operative procedures and support the perioperative continuum according to credentials, privileges and competency verification.

In this role, you may also serve as an RN circulator, ensuring comprehensive patient-family centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program.
• Completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program, which includes didactic and clinical components.
• 2 years perioperative RN or RNFA experience.
• 3 years minimum experience as an RN or Surgical Tech in the CVOR, if working in the CVOR.

Responsabilités

• Delivery of safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the OR and perioperative settings.
• Functions as an RN first assistant during operative and other invasive procedures.
• Acts as RN circulator when required to ensure patient safety and continuity of care.
