Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Georgia seeks an RN First Assistant to provide safe, patient-family centered perioperative care across the OR and related areas. Function as RNFA during operative and invasive procedures, with responsibilities aligned to scope of practice and credentialing.

Requirements include graduation from a nursing program, completion of an AORN RN First Assistant program, active Georgia RN license, and BCLS/ACLS/PALS. Sign-on bonus available and experience in CVOR is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program and completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program.
• Current Georgia RN licensure with NLC/eNCL if applicable.
• BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver perioperative care as RNFA during operative and invasive procedures.
• Act as RN circulator when not serving as RNFA, in alignment with scope of practice.
