Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an experienced RN First Assistant to deliver safe, effective perioperative care across OR and related areas. You will act as an RNFA during operative procedures and assist as an RN circulator when needed, ensuring patient-family centered care.

Required are GA RN licensure, completion of AORN RN First Assistant program, and CNOR/CRNFA with BCLS, ACLS, and PALS, plus a minimum of 2 years perioperative experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program (Required)
• Completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program (Required)
• 2 years perioperative RN or RNFA experience (Required)
• 3 years minimum experience as RN or Surgical Tech in the CVOR if CVOR work is involved (Required)
• Current Georgia RN licensure or multi-state license (Required)
• CNOR, CRNFA, BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (Required)

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective, patient-family centered perioperative care.
• Serve as RN First Assistant during operative and invasive procedures.
• Occasionally act as RN circulator in the OR as needed.
