Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a qualified RN First Assistant to deliver safe, effective perioperative care across the OR and related areas. You will function as an RN first assistant during operative procedures and may serve as an RN circulator as needed.

The role requires completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program, and 2+ years perioperative RN/RNFA experience, plus GA RN licensure and CNOR/CRNFA credentials. Sign-on bonus available.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Completion of the AORN-RN First Assistant program (didactic and clinical).
• 2 years perioperative RN or RNFA experience.
• 3 years as RN or Surgical Tech in the CVOR (if CVOR work).
• Current GA RN license or NLC/eNCL multistate license.
• CNOR, CRNFA, BCLS, ACLS, PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective, and patient-family centered perioperative care.
• Serve as RN first assistant during operative and invasive procedures.
• Act as RN circulator when required and support perioperative continuum.
• Maintain credentials, privileges, and competency verification.
