Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital seeks an experienced RN First Assistant to deliver safe, patient-family centered care in the perioperative setting across all populations. The role supports operative procedures and circulator duties in collaboration with surgeons and the perioperative team.

Requirements include RN licensure in Georgia, CNOR, CRNFA, BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and completion of an AORN RN First Assistant program. Prior OR RN/RNFA and CVOR experience are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program required.
• Completion of an AORN RN First Assistant program required.
• 2 years perioperative RN or RNFA experience required; CVOR experience preferred if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective perioperative and family-centered care in the OR.
• Functions as RN First Assistant during operative procedures and as RN circulator when needed.
