Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an RN First Assistant to deliver safe and patient-family centered perioperative care in the OR and across perioperative services. You will function as an RN First Assistant during operative procedures and the perioperative continuum, with responsibilities as an RN circulator at times.

The role requires completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program, plus RN licensure in Georgia, CNOR/CRNFA as applicable, and ACLS/PALS certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program with didactic and clinical components.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective, and patient-family centered perioperative care in the OR and across perioperative services.
• Act as RN First Assistant during operative procedures and throughout the perioperative continuum; also serve as RN circulator when needed.
