The Springfield Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality nursing care in alignment with the Scope and Standards of Nursing Practice.

The role operates within the Department of Nursing and collaborates with specialty care teams to ensure patient-centered care. Responsibilities include using the Nursing Process for clinical judgments and documenting care, with delegation as appropriate, while complying with all state and federal laws, regulations and hospital

Qualifications

• ADN/BSN required.
• Active RN license (VT or compact state).
• BLS for Healthcare Providers.
• De-escalation training.
• Phlebotomy training.
• 6 months nursing experience desirable for specialty areas.
• Nursing care knowledge across lifespan.
• Strong people skills and communication.
• Proficiency in MS Office and technology in care delivery.

The Registered Nurse (RN) will:

• Ensure practice meets compliance with all applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and policies governing the provision of health care.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing
• Active Vermont Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing or compact state RN license in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
• De-escalation Training
• Phlebotomy Training
• Six (6) months of nursing experience is desirable for specialty areas.
• Nursing Care Knowledge through the lifespan.
• Effective people skills and communication.
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite.
• Proficiency in the use of technology in care delivery.

Salary Range:

The base rate for this position is $35.13- $57.64 per hour. The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education and experience of the successful candidate.
