Job summary

Springfield Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a day shift (7:00 am – 7:00 pm). You will provide nursing care within the Nursing Practice framework, document care, and delegate tasks as appropriate.

The role requires a valid RN license (VT or compact) and adherence to all laws and policies governing care. The position emphasizes patient-centered care with a focus on high standards, teamwork, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• ADN or BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
• Active Vermont RN license in good standing or compact state license.
• Six months of nursing experience desirable for specialty areas.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and care-delivery technology.
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• De-escalation training required at first course offering after hire.
• Emergency Severity Index (ESI) course within one year of hire.
• CEN/ENPC preferred.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing
• Active Vermont Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing or compact state RN license in good standing.
• Six (6) months of nursing experience is desirable for specialty areas.
• Nursing Care Knowledge through the lifespan.
• Effective people skills and communication.
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office products.

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Salary Range

The base rate for this position is $35.13 - $57.64 per hour. The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education and experience of the successful candidate.
