Springfield Hospital seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide nursing care to patients in alignment with the Scope and Standards of Nursing Practice and hospital policies.

You will document care, delegate tasks appropriately, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations while collaborating with the nursing team to support quality patient outcomes.

Competenze

• Active Vermont RN license in good standing or compact state license in good standing.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers.
• De-escalation Training.
• Phlebotomy Training.
• Six months of nursing experience is desirable for specialty areas.
• Nursing care knowledge across the lifespan.
• Effective people skills and communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Proficiency with technology in care delivery.

Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will:

• Provide nursing care to patients following the Scope and Standards of Nursing Practice, within the framework of the Department of Nursing, and in conjunction with Specialty-Specific Standards of Patient Care.
• Utilize the Nursing Process to make nursing judgments and assumes responsibilities for nursing care and documentation to include delegation of work to other levels of employees.
• Ensure practice meets compliance with all applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and policies governing the provision of health care.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing
• Active Vermont Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing or compact state RN license in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
• De-escalation Training
• Phlebotomy Training
• Six (6) months of nursing experience is desirable for specialty areas.
• Nursing Care Knowledge through the lifespan.
• Effective people skills and communication.
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite.
• Proficiency in the use of technology in care delivery.

Salary Range: The base rate for this position is $35.13- $57.64 per hour. The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education and experience of the successful candidate.
