Job summary

Cadia Healthcare in Millsboro, DE is seeking a Weekend RN Supervisor for the 7p-7a shift. This role oversees nursing staff, ensures resident care standards, and maintains regulatory compliance for a busy skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license in the state or a compact state.
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a supervisor in long-term care or healthcare facilities.
• Training in rehabilitative/restorative nursing practices preferred.
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms and charting as necessary.
• Review staffing for the assigned shift and assure each resident has an assigned nurse/CNA; adjust staffing as required.
• Make rounds at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Replace any call-offs received during the shift.
• Communicate events/incidents and resident concerns to DON/ADON and assist in corrective action when appropriate.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Review all staffing for the assigned shift and assure each resident has an assigned nurse/CNA. Review shift PPD and make staffing adjustments as required.
• Make rounds throughout the facility at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Replace any call offs that are received during the shift.
• Communicate all events/incidents and resident concerns to DON/ADON. Assist in developing and implementing corrective action when appropriate.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in this state or compact state.
• Must have a minimum of 2 years' experience as a Supervisor in long-term care or healthcare related facilities.
• Training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices preferred.
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations preferred.
