Job summary

Sterling HealthCare and Rehabilitation Center is seeking an Every Weekend RN Supervisor to join our nursing team in Delaware County. The role requires RN licensure, CPR certification, and prior supervisory experience in rehabilitative or geriatric care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing and currently licensed as an RN.
• CPR Certification.
• Supervisory experience in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing.

Responsibilities

• Conveys accurate information in a supportive and courteous manner to unit nursing staff.
• Seeks supervision and direction from physicians as needed.
• Completes nursing assessments, transfers, discharges, treatment plans, progress notes, medication reconciliation and administration, and vitals.
• Conducts orientation for new staff on unit policies and procedures.
• Assists medical doctors as needed.
• Attends and participates in departmental staff meetings.
• Maintains HIPAA compliance and confidentiality; adheres to licensing regulations; CPR/AED/First Aid knowledge.
• Oversees and serves as a resource to direct care staff; supports DON and Unit Managers with staffing and activities; provides direct patient care when needed.

STERLING HEALTHCARE AND REHABILITATION CENTER IS CURRENTLY SEEKING EVERY WEEKEND REGISTERED NURSE (RN) TO JOIN OUR TEAM!!

As the Every Weekend RN Supervisor the expectations would be:

• Conveys accurate information in supportive and courteous manner to unit nursing


• Seeks out supervision and direction from physician.


• Completion of nursing assessments, transfers, discharges, treatment plans, progress notes, medication reconciliation, medication administration, and vitals.


• Conducts orientation of new employees to unit regarding specific policies and procedures.


• Assist medical doctor as needed


• Attend and actively participate in departmental staff meetings.


• Knowledge of HIPAA laws, confidentiality, state licensing regulations, CPR, AED and First Aid.


• Oversight and serve as a resource to the direct care staff


• Support to the DON and Unit Managers with staffing and activities as assigned


• Direct patient care when necessary and/or assigned

Every Weekend RN SupervisorQualifications:
