Job summary

Reliable Health Care Management is seeking a Weekend RN Supervisor for a full-time position in Georgia. The role supervises nursing activities in a long-term care facility, supports the DON, and ensures adequate staffing and quality care for residents.

Responsibilities include directing day-to-day nursing operations, participating in surveys, daily rounds, delegating to charge nurses, and maintaining supplies and PPE. Active RN license required, prior LTC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience preferred in Long Term Care.
• Must possess current, unencumbered active RN License.

Responsibilities

• Assist the DON in directing day to day functions of the nursing activities in accordance with current rules, regulations & guidelines govern the long term care facility.
• Participate in facility surveys (Inspections) made by authorized govt agencies as requested by the administrator or DON.
• Ensure that a sufficient number of nursing staff are available each shift & that routine nursing care is provided to meet the daily nursing care needs of each resident. (PPD)
• Delegate to each charge nurse the authority responsibility and accountability necessary to perform his/her assigned duties.
• Daily rounds of nursing dept to ensure that all nursing personnel are performing their work assignments in accordance with acceptable nursing standards.
• Develop and maintain a good working relationship with nursing personnel as well as other depts within the nursing facility.
• Provide direct nursing care as necessary.
• Ensure that nursing dept has adequate supplies (PPE etc.) that are readily available to personnel
