Job summary

Lake Providence Nursing & Rehab is seeking a Weekend RN Supervisor to provide clinical leadership and support every other weekend at the Cypress at Lake Providence facility in Lake Providence, LA. This role offers a flexible weekend schedule with 8.5 hours per weekend and scheduling built around availability.

The successful candidate will supervise nursing staff, ensure high-quality resident care, and collaborate with RNs, LPNs, CNAs, families, and physicians on care planning and clinical

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.
• Prior charge nurse or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Reliable and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical supervision and support to nursing staff.
• Monitor resident care and respond to changes in condition.
• Provide guidance to RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
• Ensure nursing services are delivered according to established standards.
• Communicate with residents, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Assist with clinical decision-making and address weekend concerns.
• Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Promote compliance with facility policies, regulations, and nursing standards.
• Serve as a clinical resource and leader for the nursing team.

• Every other weekend
• Work 8.5 hours each weekend

• Hours can be scheduled anytime between 6:00 AM and 8:00 PM
