Job summary

Fowler Care Center is seeking a dedicated RN Supervisor to lead nursing operations during night shifts. The role emphasizes patient care, regulatory compliance, and staff supervision in a SNF setting.

The position requires an active California RN license, 1+ year of SNF or acute care experience, and CPR/BLS certification. Supervisory experience is preferred, with competitive pay and benefits offered. Part-time schedule includes SAT/SUN nights.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted California RN license.
• Minimum one year of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or acute care hospital.
• Supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support licensed nurses and CNAs during the night shift.
• Ensure quality resident care per physician orders, policies, and regulations.
• Respond to changes in resident conditions and provide clinical guidance as needed.
• Complete clinical assessments, investigations, and documentation as required.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and emergencies.
• Monitor infection prevention, med administration, and documentation standards.
• Coach, mentor, and educate nursing staff to promote quality outcomes.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and physicians.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and survey readiness.

Fowler Care Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to join our leadership team.

Schedule:

• Saturday and Sunday

• PM 2:45PM - 11:15PM

• NOC 10:45 - 7:15AM

• Part Time

The RN Supervisor is responsible for overseeing nursing operations during the night shift, ensuring the delivery of high-quality resident care, maintaining regulatory compliance, supervising nursing staff, and serving as the clinical leader for the facility during assigned hours.

Essential Responsibilities

• Supervise and support licensed nurses and certified nursing assistants during the night shift.

• Ensure quality resident care is provided in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and state and federal regulations.

• Respond to changes in resident conditions and provide clinical guidance as needed.

• Complete clinical assessments, investigations, and documentation as required.

• Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and emergency situations.

• Monitor compliance with infection prevention, medication administration, and documentation standards.

• Coach, mentor, and educate nursing staff to promote quality outcomes.

• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain survey readiness.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted California Registered Nurse (RN) license.

• Minimum one (1) year of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or acute care hospital required.

• Supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred.

• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and leadership skills.

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

• Current CPR/BLS certification.
