Job summary

Lakes at Lutz Health and Rehabilitation Center in Florida is seeking a Weekend RN/LPN Supervisor for 11pm–7am shifts on weekends. This part-time role, under the Director of Nursing, supervises nursing staff and oversees day-to-day activities to ensure high‑quality resident care.

Preferred RN, but LPN considered. Requirements include an active Florida RN or LPN license, BSN preferred, IV therapy and CPR/BLS certification, and a solid understanding of nursing standards and regulations.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred; RN or LPN license valid in Florida.
• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Peripheral IV certification and CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong nursing knowledge, regulatory awareness, and patient safety focus.
• English literacy; additional languages helpful.

Responsibilities

• Supervise clinical care planning and oversee day-to-day nursing activities during weekend shifts.
• Assess residents on admission and during condition changes, and review care plans.
• Conduct rounds to evaluate resident status and identify needs.
• Provide or assist with direct resident care, including activities of daily living, medication administration, and routine treatments.

RN/LPN Weekend Supervisor

Part Time / Weekends / 11p-7a

**Preferred Registered Nurse (RN) however will take Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)**

We are seeking a dedicated Weekend Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Supervisor to join our team of healthcare professionals. Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, this role supervises nursing personnel and oversees day‑to‑day nursing activities during assigned shifts. All responsibilities must align with accepted professional standards and federal, state, and local regulations to ensure the highest quality of care.

Responsibilities

• Supervise clinical care planning and delivery to ensure coordinated, quality resident care, including review and updates of care plans.

• Assess residents upon admission and periodically as their condition changes.

• Conduct regular rounds to evaluate resident status and identify needs.

• Provide or assist with direct resident care when necessary, including activities of daily living, meal support, medication and treatment administration, and participation in leisure activities as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)

• Current RN/LPN license in the state of employment

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program

• Peripheral IV certification

• CPR/BLS certification

• Strong understanding of nursing practices, medical procedures, and regulatory requirements related to nursing care centers

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; additional languages helpful
