Job summary

Osprey Point Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated Weekend Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to lead nursing personnel and oversee day-to-day activities during assigned shifts. Under the Director of Nursing, you will ensure high-quality resident care, adherence to standards, and regulatory requirements.

You will supervise care planning, assess residents, and conduct rounds while providing direct care when needed. An RN license in Florida and BSN preference are required or strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of employment is required.
• Peripheral IV certification is required.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Strong understanding of nursing practices and regulatory requirements for nursing care centers.
• English proficiency required; additional languages helpful.

Responsibilities

• Supervise clinical care planning and delivery to ensure coordinated, quality resident care, including updates to care plans.
• Assess residents on admission and during changes in condition.
• Conduct regular rounds to monitor resident status and identify needs.
• Provide or assist with direct resident care as needed (ADLs, meals, medication/treatment administration, and activities).

All responsibilities must align with accepted professional standards and federal, state, and local regulations to ensure the highest quality of care.

Responsibilities

• Supervise clinical care planning and delivery to ensure coordinated, quality resident care, including review and updates of care plans.
• Assess residents upon admission and periodically as their condition changes.
• Conduct regular rounds to evaluate resident status and identify needs.
• Provide or assist with direct resident care when necessary, including activities of daily living, meal support, medication and treatment administration, and participation in leisure activities as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)
• Current RN license in the state of employment
• Peripheral IV certification
• CPR/BLS certification
• Strong understanding of nursing practices, medical procedures, and regulatory requirements related to nursing care centers
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; additional languages helpful
