Job summary

Carilion Franklin Memorial Hospital in Rocky Mount, VA is seeking a Clinical Administrator for weekend nights (Fri–Sun, 7pm–7am). The role provides leadership, coordinates staffing and throughput, and acts as an administrative liaison to patients and staff across departments.

The ideal candidate is a Virginia-licensed RN with at least 5 years of patient-care experience, ACLS certification, and PALS within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state approved School of Nursing.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in patient care setting.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in Virginia (RN).
• ACLS certification; Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire.
• Demonstrates leadership, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and accountability for resource utilization across the organization.
• Coordinate triage and throughput with CTaC, physicians and department leaders.
• Serve as administrative liaison to patients, families, staff and external customers 24/7.
• Support staff with professional guidance and nursing tasks across service areas.
• Contribute to performance improvement and safety/risk management efforts.
