Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Greater Indiana South in Clarksville, IN is hiring a Registered Nurse for a full-time position requiring weekend shifts (36 hours) with compensation for a 40-hour week.

Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer, this RN will apply the nursing process, plan and coordinate patient care, and provide family teaching for post-hospitalization. BLS is required; ACLS within 90 days; one year med-surgical experience preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license in Indiana (or compact licensure) is required.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment; ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver, direct and supervise care to patients admitted to the nursing unit.
• Plan, coordinate and provide patient care including interdisciplinary planning and discharge planning.
• Provide patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization and access to community resources.
• May perform duties as Charge Nurse as needed (ACLS).
