Job summary

OrthoIndy Hospital Northwest in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Registered Nurse for Inpatient Services. This full-time role includes a 36-hour work week with three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm, and a strong nurse-to-patient ratio.

The RN will assess, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans, collaborating with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care and satisfaction. Indiana RN licensure, BLS and ACLS are required.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Current license as a Registered Nurse in Indiana required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• 1–2 years of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient assessment and communicates pertinent patient information to care providers.
• Delivers direct patient care and administers medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Documents all patient care activities in the patient record.
• Supports discharge planning and provides patient education materials.
• Participates in ongoing training and knowledge updates.
