Job summary

PAM Health is hiring a Registered Nurse on a full-time basis to work Baylor shifts, with 36 weekend hours (12-hour shifts) and a standard 40-hour work week. The RN will deliver and supervise patient care under the Nursing leadership, participate in discharge planning, and educate patients and families for post-hospital care.

Requires active RN licensure in the state, BLS certification, and ACLS certification within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Holds a current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct and supervise nursing care to patients admitted to the nursing unit.
• Coordinate discharge planning and patient/family teaching for post-hospitalization.
• May perform duties as Charge Nurse if ACLS certification is current.
