Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Greater Indiana North is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver, direct and supervise patient care on the nursing unit under the direction of nursing leadership. The role includes planning, coordinating and providing comprehensive patient care, discharge planning, and patient/family teaching for post-hospitalization.

Requirements include an active RN license in-state or compact licensure, BLS, and ACLS within 90 days (ACLS required for Charge Nurses).

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state where the hospital resides or compact licensure.
• BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to deliver, direct and supervise patient care.
• Plan, coordinate and provide patient care including interdisciplinary planning and discharge planning.
• Provide patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization and community resources.
• May perform other related duties, including serving as Charge Nurse when needed.
