Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Greater Indiana North in New Albany, IN is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver and oversee patient care under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer, Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager, or Charge Nurse. The RN will use the nursing process to plan, coordinate, and provide patient care including discharge planning and teaching for post-hospitalization.

Requirements include current RN licensure, BLS and ACLS (ACLS within 90 days).

Qualifications

• Holds current RN licensure in the state where employed.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct and supervise nursing care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary planning and discharge planning.
• Provide patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization and resource access.
• May perform Charge Nurse duties; ACLS certification required for this role.
