Job summary
Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care within a multidisciplinary team in New Jersey. You will perform age and disease-specific assessments, develop and coordinate a care plan, and ensure safe and effective delivery of nursing care.
The role requires an RN license, BLS/CPR, and at least six months of nursing experience or participation in HMH's Nurse Residency Program. A strong focus on teamwork and continuous learning is essential.
Qualifications
- Requires current RN license to work at the location
- BLS/CPR certification within 60 days of hire
- Minimum six months nursing experience or participation in Nurse Residency Program
- Ability to learn quickly, take accountability, and work in a team-oriented environment
- National Certification in area of specialty preferred when eligible
Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based nursing care to diverse patient populations
- Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary team
- Document patient assessments and plan of care in real time
- Administer medications following bar-scanning protocols
- Coordinate safe discharge planning and transitions
