Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care across a variety of complex cases. You will work within an interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes and coordinate care across units and services.

The role requires an active RN license in New Jersey, BLS/CPR certification within 60 days, and at least six months of nursing experience or Nurse Residency participation.

Qualifications

• Active RN license to work at the assigned HMH location.
• BSN in progress within 3 years of hire.
• BLS/CPR certification within 60 days of hire.
• Six months of nursing experience or active Nurse Residency with HMH.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care per latest evidence-based policies and standards.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care with interdisciplinary team.
• Coordinate patient care and unit activities among nursing peers, physicians and support services.
• Document care and patient status through point-of-care systems.
• Administer medications with safety protocols and bar-scanning technology.
• Support safe patient transitions and discharge planning.
