Job summary

The Pavilion at Piketon Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced Unit Manager (RN/LPN) to oversee clinical care and lead nursing staff in our long-term care facility. You will supervise LPNs and CNAs, coordinate care plans, and provide hands-on clinical guidance to ensure resident safety and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Ohio (required).
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Nursing management or supervisory experience required.
• CPR certification.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support LPNs and CNAs, ensuring high-quality resident care.
• Coordinate patient care plans, goals, and discharge planning.
• Provide hands-on clinical support and guidance to staff as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and leadership.
• Assist the Director of Nursing with department operations and staffing oversight.
• Participate in quality improvement (QI) initiatives, audits, and follow-up.
• Monitor and maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Assist with resident assessments and care plan development.
• Lead and participate in staff education and in-service training programs.
• Support survey readiness and participate in state and regulatory surveys.
• Promote a safe, efficient, and positive work environment.
