Job summary

The Pavilion at Piketon is seeking an experienced Unit Manager (RN/LPN) to oversee clinical care in our long-term care/skilled nursing facility. You will supervise LPNs and CNAs, coordinate care plans, and provide hands-on clinical guidance to staff.

Ideal candidate holds an RN license, strong leadership and regulatory knowledge, and a commitment to geriatric care. This full-time role supports quality improvement and survey readiness in a collaborative, resident‑centered environment.

Qualifications

  • Current RN license required.
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Nursing management or supervisory experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of nursing practices and patient care standards.
  • Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation preferred.
  • CPR certification is required.
  • Leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure.

Responsibilities

Job Type: Full-time

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Unit Manager (RN/LPN) to oversee clinical care and lead nursing staff within our long-term care/skilled nursing facility. This role is responsible for staff supervision, care coordination, clinical oversight, and resident outcomes, while supporting a high standard of care and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, clinical expertise, and a passion for geriatric care, along with the ability to guide and develop nursing staff in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support LPNs and CNAs, ensuring high-quality resident care

  • Coordinate patient care plans, goals, and discharge planning

  • Provide hands-on clinical support and guidance to staff as needed
