Belleville Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center is seeking an Unit Manager (RN) to oversee Nursing Services, perform clinical operations in the Director of Nursing's absence, and supervise staff to meet quality standards.

The role requires active RN licensure, a nursing degree, and several years in long-term or acute care with supervisory experience. It emphasizes infection control, QA activities, and coordination across departments to ensure resident safety.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as RN in the state practiced.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school required.
• Five years in long-term or acute health care preferred; At least 2 years nursing supervisory experience required.

Responsabilités

• Coordinates plans for total care of each resident per physician orders and regulations.
• Interprets policies to nursing staff and monitors practices.
• Participates in admissions decisions and resident status reviews.
• Manages daily/weekly meetings on resident status, census, personnel, and concerns.
• Ensures compassionate, quality care and adequate staff coverage.
• Monitors infection control programs and submits reports to QA committee.
• Coordinates QA activities and prepares staff for inspections.
• Promotes safety and accident prevention in the facility.
