Job summary

CareOne at Randolph is seeking an experienced Unit Manager (RN) in Randolph, MA. The role requires overseeing staffing, care delivery, and regulatory compliance for long-term care residents.

The incumbent will supervise licensed nurses and CNAs, lead care planning, and participate in clinical reviews and committees to maintain high-quality resident care. The compensation is based on experience and credentials, with a focus on regulatory compliance, staff development, and resident safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred and/or must be a graduate of an approved RN program.
• Must be an actively licensed RN in assigned state(s) of employment
• Previous supervisory experience
• Two years of LTC experience
• Acute Care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that required staffing levels are met for each shift on a daily basis to render care for the number of residents assigned to the supervisor.
• Make staffing adjustments each shift and keep the posted schedule up to date.
• Attend and lead weekly resident At Risk meetings to identify care concerns and ensure interventions are completed.
• Attend morning clinical review meetings and PPS meetings as indicated.
• Monitor nursing care delivery and ensure documentation compliance by licensed nurses and CNAs.
• Review 24-hour changes in condition and follow up with interventions and communications as needed.
• Review resident medical records to ensure care plans comply with policies and procedures.
• Identify educational needs of staff and coordinate with Facility Educator to meet them.
• Participate in committees as requested by Administrator/DON and address grievances or concerns.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal rules, HIPAA, and safety protocols.
• Assist with performance evaluations and admissions processes.
