Job summary

CareOne Brookline is actively hiring a Unit Manager (LPN or RN) to oversee a clinical unit in the long-term care setting. The role requires ensuring staffing adequacy, leading clinical reviews, and maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations.

A licensed RN with supervisory experience and LTC exposure is preferred. The Unit Manager will drive patient care quality, support care planning, and collaborate with the DON and interdisciplinary teams to maintain high standards for residents

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred and/or must be a graduate of an approved RN program.
• Active RN license in assigned state(s) of employment
• Previous supervisory experience
• Two years of LTC experience
• Acute care experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensure staffing levels meet daily needs for residents.
• Adjust staffing and posted schedules as shifts require.
• Attend and lead weekly resident meetings and clinical reviews.
• Participate in PPS, QA&A, and other required committees.
• Monitor medication passes and nursing documentation for compliance.
• Provide direct nursing care when needed and support staff performance evaluations.
