Qualifications

• RN with state license; BSN preferred
• Minimum 2 years clinical experience in long-term care or post-acute
• Minimum of 1 year supervisory/management experience preferred
• Working knowledge of nursing practice, infection control, and regulatory requirements

Responsibilities

• Supervises nursing care provided by RNs, LPNs/LVNs and CNAs/STNAs.
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with policies and laws.
• Interviews, hires and trains staff; plans, assigns and directs workflow.
• Prepares work assignments with resident safety in mind; manage staffing replacements.
• Receives and resolves employee complaints; monitors performance; disciplinaries as needed.
