Westminster Nursing and Rehab in Westminster, MD is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to lead nursing care for residents and supervise the nursing team. You will coordinate daily operations and ensure that quality care is delivered with compassion.

Formación

• Must possess a current RN license in the state where the center is located.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in long-term care and maintaining CPR certification.
• Must maintain knowledge of the financial aspects of nursing operations and provide accurate documentation for reimbursement.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure sufficient nursing staffing levels to deliver quality resident care
• Monitor staff attendance and initiate disciplinary actions as needed
• Assist in orientation and training of new employees and ongoing training
• Develop and communicate shift assignments for nursing staff and monitor performance to ensure quality care
• Communicate with ancillary departments and nursing staff at shift change on resident conditions and needs
• Evaluate staff performance and identify opportunities for improvement
• Ensure appropriate recognition for staff achievements
• Perform other related activities as assigned or requested
