Woburn Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to lead the nursing team and oversee daily clinical operations in our skilled nursing facility in Woburn, MA. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible employees, with competitive hourly pay and weekly payroll.

Ideal candidates will have MA RN licensure, prior leadership experience, and a focus on resident-centered care, safety, and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts RN license in good standing.
• Experience in nursing leadership or unit management.
• Background in skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehabilitation is preferred.
• Experience with respiratory or pulmonary care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinical operations of the assigned nursing unit to ensure high-quality resident care.
• Supervise and mentor RNs, LPNs, and nursing assistants.
• Coordinate resident care plans with physicians and interdisciplinary team.
• Monitor resident conditions and ensure proper assessment, documentation and follow-up.
• Ensure compliance with Massachusetts and federal regulations and facility policies.
• Support infection control, medication safety, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Communicate care needs and concerns effectively with residents, families, and staff.
• Address clinical issues promptly and professionally.
• Maintain appropriate staffing levels and promote teamwork and a positive work environment.
• Uphold dignity, respect, and compassion in resident care.

Woburn Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager to lead our nursing team and oversee daily clinical operations within our skilled nursing facility.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated nursing professional with strong leadership skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional, resident-centered care. Experience in respiratory or pulmonary care is preferred.

As a Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager, you will support nursing staff, coordinate resident care, maintain clinical standards, and work closely with facility leadership to promote positive outcomes and a safe, supportive environment for residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily clinical operations of the assigned nursing unit to ensure high-quality resident care.
• Supervise, support, and mentor nursing staff, including Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and nursing assistants.
• Coordinate resident care plans and collaborate with physicians, the Medical Director, rehabilitation professionals, social services, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
• Monitor residents' conditions and ensure appropriate assessment, documentation, communication, and follow-up.
• Promote compliance with Massachusetts regulations, applicable federal requirements, facility policies, and established nursing standards.
• Support infection prevention, medication safety, clinical documentation, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff regarding care needs and concerns.
• Address clinical issues and resolve concerns professionally and promptly.
• Help maintain appropriate staffing, accountability, teamwork, and a positive work environment.
• Ensure residents are treated with dignity, respect, and compassion.

Qualifications

• Current, active, and unencumbered Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Previous nursing leadership, supervisory, or unit management experience preferred.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility, long‑term care, or rehabilitation setting preferred.
• Respiratory or pulmonary care experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of applicable long‑term care regulations and clinical standards.
• Strong clinical judgment, assessment, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to lead a team, manage competing priorities, and address sensitive situations professionally.
• Commitment to resident safety, quality care, and regulatory compliance.
