Job summary

Homewood Retirement Centers is seeking an RM Unit Manager for a Monday–Friday administrative role on our Personal Care units. You will provide clinical leadership, supervise nursing staff, and ensure high-quality resident care across the unit.

The position requires an RN license, 2–4 years of supervisory experience, and strong communication, conflict-resolution, and compassionate care skills. The role offers full-time hours with benefits and a competitive annual salary.

Qualifications

• RN license required in the state providing nursing care.
• 2–4 years in a supervisory role, preferably in geriatric long-term care.
• Demonstrates compassion, empathy for older persons.
• Strong management, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and oversight for a skilled nursing unit.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary teams to support resident care.
• Supervise Nursing Assistants, Hospitality Aides and Team Leaders and evaluate performance.
• Review and maintain accurate clinical records and incident reports.
• Participate in care planning and QA activities, and communicate with administration.
