Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a Unit Manager position at Certus Healthcare Management. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to our residents, ensuring their health and well-being while contributing to our mission of family-focused care.

Starting pay for this position, based on experience, is $80,000.00 a year

Schedule: This position will work Monday through Friday in a supervisory position assisting the Assistant Director of Nursing and Director of Nursing with clinical operations in the community. As part of this supervisory position, you will be a part of the On-Call rotation and may need to assist with oversight of operations on multiple shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Administration of medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patient health and provide updates to the healthcare team.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans and plans of correction.
  • Perform assessments, including vital signs and medical history evaluations.
  • Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
  • Document patient progress accurately in electronic health records.
  • Complete necessary audits and additional tasks as assigned by Director of Nursing.

Requirements

Requirements

    • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio.
    • Experience in Long Term Care, Behavioral Health or Acute Care preferred.
    • Strong clinical assessment skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient and staff interaction.
    • Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Point Click Care is a plus
    • Infection Preventionist Certification is a plus
    • Prior Wound Care experience or Wound Care Certification is a plus
