Qualifications

• 3 Jahre Erfahrung in der Langzeitpflege bevorzugt.
• 2 Jahre Erfahrung als Stationsleitung bevorzugt.

Responsibilities

• Überwachung aller Aufgaben für die zugewiesene Einheit.
• Mentoring von weniger erfahrenen Pflegekräften.

Job description

Oneida Center is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager in Utica, NY.

Duties:

1. Handle all supervisory duties for assigned unit
2. Help establish and implement employee policies and procedures
3. Mentor less experienced nurses, offering clinical & career advice
4. Maintain the standards of care for the unit
5. Review Resident records & quality of care
6. Monitor overall care & review individual Residents’ cases
7. Address questions or complaints brought forward by Residents or their families
8. Represent the unit's interests with the upper-level management

Requirements:

1. Must hold valid State RN License
2. 3 years Long Term Care Experience preferred
3. 2 years Charge Nurse experience preferred
4. Strong computer skills
5. Excellent communication skills
