Complete Care at Glendale in Connecticut is hiring an RN Unit Manager (Registered Nurse) for the day shift. This full-time role offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits, with opportunities for advancement.

You will lead care planning, conduct admissions and assessments, coordinate triage, ensure regulatory compliance, oversee quality assurance, and mentor the care team. Prior long-term care leadership is required.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed to practice as an RN in Connecticut.
• Prior long-term care leadership experience is required.
• Strong leadership, customer service and clinical skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Care Needs & Planning: Develop, implement and update individual care plans.
• Assessments: Complete admissions, discharges and other assessments as needed.
• Triage & Interventions: Manage acute health changes and physician orders with care teams and families.
• Regulatory Standards: Ensure compliance with state and federal health regulations.
• Quality Assurance: Audit documentation for quality and compliance.
• Family & Team Liaison: Communicate changes to families and providers; collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
• Team Oversight & Mentorship: Provide training, orientation and evaluations; manage staffing schedules.

Here’s What You’ll Do for Our Residents & Facility:

Care Needs & Planning: Assist to develop, implement and continually update individual care plans, supplement hands on care needs

Assessments: Complete admission, discharge and other assessments as needed

Triage & Interventions: Assist to handle acute health changes, physicians' orders and collaboration with care providers & families

Regulatory Standards: Ensure compliance with federal, state, county & company health/safety regulations

Quality Assurance: Audit documentation & care for quality control/compliance

Family & Team Liaison: Communicates changes in resident conditions to families/providers, works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team

Team Oversight & Mentorship: Provide ongoing training, orientation & performance evaluations for staff. Manage staffing schedules and assignments
