Job summary

Complete Care at Meriden is seeking an RN Unit Manager (Registered Nurse) for a full-time day shift with comprehensive benefits. Pay is negotiable based on experience, with advancement opportunities in a supportive long-term care setting.

Requirements include CT RN licensure and prior long-term care leadership experience; the role includes staff mentorship, care planning, regulatory compliance and coordination with families and providers.

Qualifications

• CT RN licensure required.
• Prior long-term care leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to coordinate care and mentor staff.

Responsibilities

• Care needs & planning: develop, implement and update individual care plans.
• Assessments: complete admissions, discharges and other assessments.
• Triage & interventions: respond to acute changes and collaborate with physicians.
• Regulatory standards: ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines.
• Quality assurance: audit documentation and care for quality control.
• Family & team liaison: communicate changes to families and work with the care team.
• Team oversight & mentorship: provide training, orientation and scheduling oversight.

Here’s What You’ll Do for Our Residents & Facility:

Care Needs & Planning: Assist to develop, implement and continually update individual care plans, supplement hands on care needs

Assessments: Complete admission, discharge and other assessments as needed

Triage & Interventions: Assist to handle acute health changes, physicians' orders and collaboration with care providers & families

Regulatory Standards: Ensure compliance with federal, state, county & company health/safety regulations

Quality Assurance: Audit documentation & care for quality control/compliance

Family & Team Liaison: Communicates changes in resident conditions to families/providers, works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team

Team Oversight & Mentorship: Provide ongoing training, orientation & performance evaluations for staff. Manage staffing schedules and assignments
